First off a MASSIVE thank you to all those who came along to the shop to support us on Record Store Day. As well as 250+ rare releases we were treated to live musc sets from Experimental Sonic Machines and Rob Distant's Splice Headz. We certainly had a cracking day and we hope you did too.

Remaining RSD items are available to buy at the shop or online from 8pm this Friday 29th April.

We've had 3 late Record Store Day arrivals. Two releases from Deadmau5 - Full Circle as a Silver 2LP set and Vexillology as a Blue 2LP set both on wax for the first time.

Also late in is a RSD reissue of Guitar Ray's incredible soul funk single You're Gonna Wreck My Life on New Orlean's music veteran Senator Jones' label, Shagg, is a case in point. This New Orleans gem from 1974 has recently soared in popularity with much in-demand original copies going for between £1000-1500 apiece.

New In This Week...

British Indie rock band Bloc Party return with their forthcoming sixth studio album Alpha Games, via Infectious / BMG. 'The album’s 12 tracks veer from the intense and confrontational (Traps, Day Drinker) to melodic and introspective (If We Get Caught, By Any Means Necessary), and marks a new and important chapter in one of music’s most important voices in Kele Okereke and important bands in Bloc Party.' We have CD and  Ltd Red Vinyl.

Tyler, The Creator returns with his highly anticipated 6th studio album Call Me If You Get Lost with features from Pharrell Williams, Brent Faiyaz and Lil Wayne. The album includes the previously-released songs Lumberjack and Wusyaname as well as Juggernaut.

Legendary German Industrial-metal group Rammstein have an eighth studio album out this week Zeit. Never the cheapest releases they've arrived on CD Deluxe CD and 2LP.

Stockport indie rockers Blossoms release their 4th album Ribbon Around The Bomb we have the Ltd Indies Exclusive Gold version.

Pink Floyd's 2nd album 1968's A Saucerful of Secrets is out this week, the original mono mix on 180 gram vinyl. One of our favourites in the Floyd back cat it's very much a late 60s psych adventure, the starting point where the Gilmour era began and the final farewell of Syd Barrett on the album's closer, Syd's hauntingly brilliant Jugband Blues.

My Bloody Valentine's massively influential 2nd album Loveless is getting a deluxe reissue after last year's much in demand reissue. This time it's available as a heavyweight vinyl in a gatefold sleeve with 6 art prints. MORE INFO HERE

Neil Young releases volume 4 of his Official Archive Album Series Box Sets including the rare Eldorado EP.
