Soft Machine - Slightly All Time - Recordings 1970-1974 - Box Set
'One of the key progressive rock groups of the late ’60s and early ’70s, Soft Machine began with Louth's own Robert Wyatt, Kevin Ayers, Daevid Allen and Mike Ratledge. From the UFO Club and Middle Earth to the Jimi Hendrix Experience US tours in 1968, they quickly built a formidable reputation...This 12” x 12” box gathers the five CBS albums, remastered from original ¼” tapes, plus an unreleased alternate Fifth, complete BBC sessions, European concert recordings, rare photos and notes by Sid Smith.'
14CD and 3 Blu Ray Box Set

Queens Of The Stone Age - Perfecth
'Birthed from sessions tracked everywhere from New Orleans to Los Angeles, the music is fearless and boundless, moody and menacing, gentle and strange. Here, Queens have moved a career's worth of jagged pieces into alignment. "Every song sounds like it's from a different world," says band founder Josh Homme. "And that's on purpose, because it's trying to stitch together all these emotions revolving around love, lust, foolishness, and the sort of wisdom that comes as a gift from all that."
The record is called Perfecth because "perfect," as a word, has never been honest. It doesn't exist. So, Homme broke the word and made it "perfecth," a more appropriate spelling for a term that never felt right to begin with. "Nothing in this world is perfect, but everything seems to be 'perfecth'," he explains. "And that title is funny when you're in a group, but it ain't so funny when you're alone.”

Vince Guaraldi's It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (Music from the Soundtrack) features some of the most iconic tracks in pop culture, including the instantly recognizable “Linus and Lucy,” as well as the languid, lyrical “Great Pumpkin Waltz.” The music was recorded on October 4, 1966 at Desilu’s Gower Street Studio in Hollywood, California by Guaraldi (piano) and his longtime friends and trio sidemen — bassist Monty Budwig and drummer Colin Bailey — joined by Emanuel Klein (trumpet), John Gray (guitar) and Ronald Lang (woodwinds). The entire scoring process was overseen by composer, arranger and conductor John Scott Trotter, well known for a three-decade run as Bing Crosby’s music director and close friend.'
