Customer Favourite Top 3 Albums of 2020
This week we hear from
Paul (Regular from Louth)
1. Loma - Don't Shy Away. It's a gorgeous, otherworldly record that takes a while to reveal it's beauty with textured electronic landscapes that float by, unhuried but mesmerizing - AND Eno added some rather lovely ambient drones on the final track, 'Homing.'
2. Bdrmm - Bedroom. It's like a lost 'shoegaze' classic from 20 years ago, with added Cure vibes. (I put this on straight after Slowdive's Just for a Day and it flowed together beautifully)
3. Working Men's Club - Working Men's Club. It's a pulsating, electronic beast of an album, replacing their early guitar sound with euphoric synths, rhythms and boundless energy.
Bubbling under... This is the Kit (obviously), Baxter Dury, Nadine Shah, Angel Olsen and Laura Marling who all reliably delivered wonderful albums.
Drop us a line via the website with your Top 3 Albums of the Year and the reason why, we'd love to hear about them and we'l be sharing ours too very soon.
