Louth metal band Concrete Badger have released their first CD via Yellowbelly Records, Live and Loud In Louth! is in store now £10.
'Concrete Badger are a metal band in the vein of classic NWOBHM /early thrash. So sort of like Maiden meets Exodus and Twisted Sister at a Skindred gig and get on famously. Driving riffs, pounding bass, thundering drums and screaming vocals smash out songs you can sing along, mosh and bang your head to!'
Don't miss the chance to see them live, they are highly entertaining.

'The Louth Chamber Choir would like to recruit new members, particularly tenors and basses but all enquiries would be welcome. The choir of about twenty singers rehearses on Sunday evenings from 7.15 pm to 9.00 pm in St James’s Church, Louth, every two weeks, and gives two concerts a year in St James’s Church. We sing a wide range of good traditional music from the sixteenth to the twenty-first century, both unaccompanied and with orchestra.

The Spooky Men's Chorale are playing at St James, Louth on Sat 6th July.
'Always renowned for a combination of Visigothic bravado, absurdist humour and eye-moistening tenderness, the Spookies in middle age, and fortified with a new generation of wunderkids, are more masters of their territory than ever before.
They will delicately garnish their much-loved black-catalogue with new incursions into beauty and stupidity, somewhat like a chocolate muffin with bits of chocolate in it. You must see them, really you must.'
