Loads of Great New Releases in store now...
Richard Thompson Ship To Shore
“To be moving is better than to be standing still,” Richard Thompson says, and Richard Thompson should know. The influential singer-songwriter and virtuosic guitarist has been on a singular musical journey for over a half century, from his days in the ‘60s as a pioneer of British folk rock with Fairport Convention, to his seminal ‘70s duo work with Linda Thompson, to the exploratory, deeply emotional music of the solo career that has been his primary concern ever since...In 2018 Thompson released his 19th solo album, the critically-acclaimed 13 Rivers, and now, five years later, he has followed it up with his latest communication, Ship To Shore. '

'Avant-pop and electronic superstar Charli XCX’s sixth studio album Brat is the eagerly awaited follow up to 2022’s Crash, which reached number 1 on the UK’s official album chart. Brat is an exhilarating club record built around high art references and social commentary.'
Splatter vinyl and CD available. Out 7th June
'For more than four decades, Crowded House leader Neil Finn has been on an evolving, winding journey. Crowded House’s mid-Eighties hits like “Don’t Dream It’s Over” and “Something So Strong,” combined with albums like Woodface and Together Alone, set the standard for the period’s erudite jangle-pop while always pushing the band’s art forward.
That creative spirit brings Finn and his Crowded House bandmates to Gravity Stairs, their first new release since 2021’s Dreamers Are Waiting and eighth overall.'
Cloudy Blue vinyl and CD in stock
'Originally released in 1997 and produced by Gareth Jones and Neil McLellan, Cowboy marked synth pop duo Erasure’s return to their more simplistic, iconic pop sound and earned them a Top 10 in the UK albums chart upon its release, as well as a Top 40 position in Germany. It also features three of their hit singles, ‘In My Arms’, ‘Don’t Say Your Love Is Killing Me’ and ‘Rain’.
This 2CD Expanded edition is the first reissue since its initial release, and is presented in a deluxe 2CD Mediabook format with a 28 page booklet containing sleeve notes by Mat Smith from Electronic Sound.'
'Bat For Lashes' The Dream Of Delphi’ is an ode to motherhood created in LA, Natasha’s second home, during the Covid-19 pandemic. It’s a sonic archive of a time when Natasha birthed her daughter Delphi earth side. The record weaves together ten song poems, documenting the polarity of navigating both an exterior world that was seemingly turning upside down, whilst also experiencing the profoundly personal and transformational early moments of mothering Delphi, named after the Greek Oracle, the ancient future teller. The music became Natasha’s sanctuary, born out of stolen trips to the studio, where each track was improvised and completed in a few hours and chronologises her diary like offerings over a period of two years; from “The Midwives Have Left”; to writing a “Letter To My Daughter”; and all the way through to “Waking up”, as well as a cover of her daughter’s favourite song, “Home”.'
US indie pop band 'The Marías make a splash with their new album Submarine. Submarine is an album that represents solitude and exploration, it represents choosing to be alone and listening to what the heart needs and not what it wants.'
Ltd indie vinyl available
'Goat Girl - release their third album Below The Waste on Rough Trade Records. The album was co–produced by the band and John Spud Murphy (Lankum and black midi).'
'Over the years, Bonny Light Horseman has accumulated many miles on the collective odometer of life. The band’s core trio – Anaïs Mitchell, Eric D. Johnson, and Josh Kaufman – has amassed an incomparable collected resume. Mitchell is a celebrated solo artist as well as the playwright and songwriter behind the hit Broadway musical Hadestown, which notched eight Tony Awards and a Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album...Bonny Light Horseman’s new album, Keep Me on Your Mind/See You Free, is an ode to the blessed mess of our humanity. Confident and generous, it is an unvarnished offering that puts every feeling and supposed flaw out in the open. The themes are stacked high and staked even higher: love and loss, hope and sorrow, community and family, change and time all permeate Bonny Light Horseman’s most vulnerable and bounteous offering to date. Yet for all of its humanistic touchpoints, Keep Me on Your Mind/See You Free was forged from a kind of unexplainable magic.'
'Eels presents Eels Time! via E Works/Play It Again Sam.
The release of this album – the group’s 15th studio album – follows a busy 2023 for Eels, where they finally hit the road for their long-awaited Lockdown Hurricane tour of Europe and North America and brought the year to a close by marking over three decades of the group with the release of their second compilation album Eels So Good: Essential Eels, Vol.2.'
'Norwegian alt-pop superstar Aurora release her fourth studio album What Happened To The Heart?. What Happened To The Heart? is a journey from weakness to strength, from self-destruction to self-healing. A poignant and introspective musical journey that explores the loss of spiritual connection in modern society, the healing power of vulnerability, and the call to ignite change through reuniting the heart with politics and personal growth. Working with a selection of incredible producers, What Happened To The Heart? promises to cement Aurora as an artist like no other.'
'It's been almost 20 years since Seasick Steve's celebrated appearance on Jools Holland's Hootenanny launched the unknown American singer-songwriter to worldwide fame, and his beat-up three-string Japanese guitar and old wooden stompbox made musical history...His new record A Trip A Stumble A Fall Down On Your Knees is released via So Recordings. It's a record he proudly says is his favourite to date. Steve says: “This album was made by mistake, as the title suggests we just tripped and stumbled into it, and it became my favourite album ever and the piece of work I’m most proud of to date. There’s not a week goes by that I don’t thank my lucky stars for that night on the Hootenanny which has brought us here to this record”.
We also have some new releases and reissues in by legends Bon Jovi, Metallica, Rolling Stones, NxWorries and more!
