British cult musician Gary Numan released his fourteenth studio album Pure in 2000. It gets a long awaited reissue this week on crystal clear vinyl and CD.

'with its mix of gloomy doomsday sounds and hard guitar staccato, finds it roots in the genres of industrial and gothic rock.'

Also from Gary Numan this week is Scarred, 'a live album recorded during the 2002 performances at the legendary Brixton Academy. The selection of songs covers a large part of his career to date, so in addition to hits such as "Pure", "Cars", "Are 'Friends' Electric?"'

2CD and double limited white vinyl in stock

'Beggars Arkive reissue of the self-titled debut album by Tubeway Army. The audio was mastered at Abbey Road from analogue tape. Tubeway Army was the name of Gary Numan’s band, formed in 1977, their self-titled debut album was released at the tail end of 1978. This album truly paved the way for Gary Numan to become an electronic pioneer. It was during the sessions for this album that he came across a minimoog synthesizer by accident in the recording studio, and the rest is history.'

Marbled blue vinyl

'Following five BBC Folk Awards nominations and a designation by The Guardian for Folk Album Of The Year in 2019, it is fair to say that Lisa O’Neill is one of the most evocative songwriters in contemporary Irish music today.'

Her new album All Of This Is Chance is out this week. Vinyl and CD versions available.

This Stupid World is New Jersey indie trio Yo La Tengo's first full-length album in five years and created all by themselves.

We're a little biased as this band have long been a favourite of ours but Riff Magazine also gives this latest album, their 16th, the thumbs up, 'This Stupid World is part great Sonic Youth album, part ’60s psychedelia, along with a dash of Krautrock and the juxtaposition of beautifully simple melodies and harmonies with overdriven guitar and a host of otherworldly sounds...This Stupid World captures Yo La Tengo doing what it does best, staying true to its iconoclastic musical vision.'

American R&B singer songwriter Kelela’s next chapter, Raven, promises a sonically beautiful and lustrous experience.

The release marks the end of the campaign for Andy’s second solo album Flicker, which came out to great acclaim in February 2022, and rounds up 16 tracks from his recent run of three EPs (I Am A Strange Loop, The Grounding Process and Untitled Film Stills) that were made up of remixes, acoustic versions and covers of songs that inspired the album.

Andy Bell (Ride, Oasis) releases Strange Loops & Outer Psych this week. 'The new CD release includes four tracks that weren’t included on the original limited-edition vinyl releases. It also includes his fuzzed-up cover of Yoko Ono’s song ‘Listen, The Snow Is Falling’ – which was recently given the official seal of approval when Yoko herself tweeted the video to her 4.5 million followers'

CD available.

The Brian Jonestown Massacre - The Future Is Your Past

Bristol Jazz Collective Ishmael Ensemble return with ‘Reasons’ the lead single from their EP New Era, a collaborative project with lyricist and MC Rider Shafique. 12" black vinyl

'The 30th anniversary of the debut album from legendary hip-hop collective The Pharcyde with this Indie Exclusive 2-LP set of Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde, pressed on clear with yellow and purple splatter vinyl.  Originally released in 1992 through the iconic Delicious Vinyl, this RIAA Gold-certified album was featured as one of Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and critically acclaimed as an absolute classic of the alternative Hip-Hop genre.'

'The Rolling Stones celebrated their golden anniversary in 2012 and 2013 by embarking on the 50 & Counting Tour, a 30-show itinerary for North America and Europe. On December 15, 2012, the band took the stage at Newark, New Jersey’s Prudential Center for the final of 4 shows in the New York area. Featuring guest spots from The Black Keys, Gary Clark Jr, Lady Gaga, John Mayer, Bruce Springsteen, and Mick Taylor, the concert proved to be one of the most memorable shows in the band’s history.'

The result is Grrr Live!, a 3LP release out this Friday.

The Academic's Pushing Up Daisies 'is the sound of a confident young band cutting loose. It’s a gritty return for a band who have a penchant for cramming more melody into their singles than most bands manage across a full album. The sound is direct and riotous – a band ready to announce themselves properly, far beyond the Irish neighbourhoods that already claim them as hometown heroes. '

Black Belt Eagle Scout (aka Katherine Paul) releases The Land, The Water, The Sky is out this week.

'Inspired by her journey home to Swinomish Indian Tribal Community in Puget Sound after 13 years in Portland...Across its 12 tracks and the accompanying videos released so far, KP takes listeners on an immersive tour of Swinomish, evoking imagery of distant treelines, a narrow footpath snaking through a densely forested area, salmon swimming upstream, a multicoloured sky at sunset.'
