New Arrivals This Week...

Paul Ferris' Witchfinder General soundtrack

'For many, this is the long Long awaited score that completes the “holy trinity” of folk horror: The Wicker Man, Blood On Satan’s Claw, Witchfinder General. And all these albums were first commercially found and released by Jonny Trunk. This is the first time Witchfinder General has been commercially released on LP;

'Mercury Prize winning Edinburgh trio Young Fathers are back with new release Heavy Heavy following 2018’s standout Cocoa Sugar. Made up of Alloysious Massaquoi, Graham ‘G’ Hastings and Kayus Bankole, Young Fathers have long been recognised as one of Britain’s most vital and distinguished bands - merging incendiary and thought provoking lyrics with cutting edge visuals and an undeniable propulsive live show.'

CD, standard and deluxe LP versions available

90s nu metal band Korn release their 14th album this week, Requiem Mass.

'Musically, Requiem is heavy but not stodgy, fresh but familiar, and accessible without ever feeling forced. Its wisest creative decision, though, is keeping things lean and mean. At just nine tracks, there are few moments that feel anything less than essential. At its best, it’s superb.' Kerrang!

CD and vinyl versions available.

Liverpool indie rock band Circa Waves have released their fifth album Never Going Under via Lower Third. 'Never Going Under is the band's highly anticipated fifth record, and the encapsulation of a continued upward trajectory for Circa Waves over the last decade. Becoming one of Britain's most influential and adored guitar bands, the four piece's dedication to constantly developing their sound has seen them secure increasingly high positions in the Official Album Charts, as well as amassing an army of dedicated fans.'

CD and vinyl in stock

The WAEVE are Blur's Graham Coxon and songwriter Rose Elinor Dougall and they release their self titled debut this Friday.

'Produced by The WAEVE and James Ford (Arctic Monkeys, Florence and The Machine, Foals, HAIM) and recorded in London earlier this year...First single ‘Can I Call You’ starts as a ballad then morphs into a krautrock-style motorik number with a sprawling Coxon guitar solo.'

2CD, cassette and limited green vinyl available

Submersive Behaviour is Australian art-punk combo Tropical Fuck Storm’s take on the tried and true “covers record” concept. Covering the likes of Hendrix, Compliments to the Chef, and The Stooges.

Limited edition clear/blue swirl vinyl

'Time Out Of Mind is one of Bob Dylan’s most commercially successful and critically acclaimed albums and won three Grammy Awards, including Album Of The Year. It includes such iconic songs as “Love Sick”, “Not Dark yet” and “Make You Feel My Love”, which became a modern standard after it was covered by artists as wide ranging as Billy Joel, Garth Brooks and of course Adele. This is one of the most highly anticipated Bootleg Series releases and it follows the evolution of songs written for the album.'

2CD, 5CD and 4LP set all available

'Following two back-to-back #1 Blues albums with KTBA Records, Joanne Shaw Taylor returns with her new studio album, Nobody's Fool ...With guest features from Joe Bonamassa, Tina Guo and Dave Stewart, Joanne is boldly venturing into the future of blues music.'

Michael Head and the Red Elastic Band release Velvets In The Dark/Koala Bears as a 7"single. 'A two-song project recorded in 2014, pressed in France and packaged in a hand-made sleeve. This is a unique and original artefact, not a re-press.'

We have English folk singer Eliza Carthy's latest album Queen Of The Whirl in stock on CD.

We have the super limited version of Pete Molinari's latest album Just Like Achilles in stock (limited run of 300 copies).

'Just Like Achilles is the distillation of everything Pete has learned since those years on the road as a travelling troubadour, playing tiny theatres and coffee houses everywhere from London, to New York, Paris to Nashville and around the world, eventually taking him to the most celebrated venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, The Royal Festival Hall, Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall.'

Dennis Brown - Dubbing At King Tubby's - LP

'While Bob Marley set out to conquer the world, Dennis Brown's popularity on the island of Jamaica grew with every year. His most prolific period is said to be with producer Niney the Observer, who led the singer down a more Roots avenue. He put Dennis on some of his heaviest rhythms. Throwing also into the pot the fact that these rhythms were also to be mixed by the Dubmaster himself King Tubby we are bound to get one of the best Dub albums around. Here is where the Crown Prince of Reggae Meets Niney the Observer at King Tubbys. It's from this period that this album focuses on and it's these tracks that were taken to King Tubby's studio to produce this stunning album.'

New Orleans no-wave punks Special Interest release Endure, their third album and Rough Trade Records debut. The new songs recall the art rock of Sparks and The B-52s as much as politically-minded punk.'

Black vinyl version in stock.

'Every Loser is Iggy Pop’s 19th solo album...An exemplary album of primal rock ’n’ roll—a master class in the art of lashing out with unequalled intensity and unflappable wit.'

Exclusive blood red vinyl version

Green Day's 25th Anniversary of Nimrod - 5LP Box Set
