Welcome! We've had another busy week getting the shop ready for re-opening in a few weeks time and getting your (much appreciated) orders out to you.

It's a bit of a bumper week, we have LOADS of very cool releases for you...from 60s, Jazz and film soundtracks to surf rock, R&B, 10th anniversary editions, Ozzy Osbourne's debut solo reissued and Neil Young''s Young Shakespeare.

Swedish folk duo siblings First Aid Kit release Who By Fire this week which is a live tribute to Leonard Cohen. Available on blue vinyl or CD.

On January 22 1971 Neil Young played a solo show at The Shakespeare Theater, Stratford, CT. The show was filmed and recorded and is the earliest live footage of Neil performing that is known to exist. The analogue tapes have been lovingly restored – resulting in (as Neil says on NYA) “one of the most pure sounding acoustic performances we have in the Archive”.

Reissued 50 years after the performance - various formats available.

Floating Points Pharoah Sanders & The London Symphony Orchestra have recorded a very special album together, Promises is available in 2 LP formats - as 180gm or 140gm black vinyl, CD also in stock.

Ozzy Osbourne's debut album Blizzard of Ozz, first released in 1980, is reissued on silver vinyl with red swirls.

Cabaret Voltaire's brand new double album Dekadrone "delves deeper into Cabaret Voltaire’s arsenal of "harsh rhythms and threatening detonations" (Classic Pop). Double limited white vinyl. 

Bonobo's 10th Anniversary Edition of Black Sands 10th is released as a limited 2LP on Grey Vinyl. It features a new version of the iconic cover image.

The Orielle's release a new soundtrack this week "We'd always shared an interest in writing music for film and so used lockdown as an opportunity to rewrite Disco Volador into a continuous score, which is what birthed the idea of 'La Vita Olistica''.

The Love Record Stores edition is in stock - purple vinyl with die cut sleeve and printed inner.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of its release, Tame Impala present a deluxe, 4LP reissue of their debut album InnerSpeaker with loads of extras.

Hannah Peel's new album Fir Wave is in stock on limited neon pink vinyl.

Southampton 60s mod rock band Fleur De Lys' compilation Circles The Ultimate Fleur De Lys is available on vinyl and CD.

Breathe is a brand new album from Hammond B-3 organ Jazz legend Dr. Lonnie Smith - available on CD.

British folk/rock singer Ben Howard returns with his fourth album, Collections From The Whiteout. A 14 track album produced by Aaron Dessner (The National).

Connecticut music project Tune-Yards release their fifth studio album, Sketchy on 4AD. CD available.

NOW That's What I Call Music 108 - The latest compilation includes hits by Harry Styles, Miley Cyrus, The Killers and Billie Eilish.
