Sabrina Carpenter's new album Man's Best Friend has already attracted a lot of attention ahead of its release after the backlash over the initial sleeve design.

Coming off her GRAMMY winning project Short n' Sweet & numerous multi-platinum singles added to her resume, the latest from Carpenter features her new single "Manchild,” available now.

Prolapse are a band close to Mark's heart after discovering them whilst at uni. Formed in Leicester in the 1990s the indie rock band are now spread across the UK and Scandinavia.

After a 26 year hiatus they are back with a new album and live tour.

'Still pursuing their own path of repetition and twisted melodies, they merge influences from post punk to krautrock and even folk. Their previous releases have included numerous singles and four albums on various labels, including Cherry Red and Radar. They feature vocalists Mick Derrick and Linda Steelyard, whose intense duelling vocals combine with ferocious triple guitar assault and pummelling rhythms.'

Radiohead have today announced Hail to the Thief Live Recordings 2003-2009 – a new live album that allowed the band to re-evaluate their relationship with their 6th studio album, Hail To The Thief.

Out now digitally, and available to pre-order as a one-off pressing, released on 31st October, the album comprises performances of songs in London, Amsterdam, Buenos Aires, and Dublin between 2003 and 2009. The album was mixed by Ben Baptie and mastered by Matt Colton.

And while we are on the subject of Radiohead Kinema In The Woods cinema at Woodhall Spa are screening the silent 1922 version of Nosferatu with a Radiohead soundtrack on Thursday 2nd October.

London rock band Wolf Alice released their new album last week and our trusty assistant Cameron Clark has reviewed it for us...

'Following on from their 2021 album Blue Weekend, Wolf Alice have returned with
their fourth full length album, The Clearing.
With clear classic rock influences, the 11-song album is an exciting listen, with tracks
like ‘Bread Butter Tea Sugar’ and ‘Bloom Baby Bloom’ delivering catchy tunes that
easily get stuck in your head for hours on end.
The album also includes more mellow pieces like ‘The Sofa’ which while being more
akin to the bands previous tracks, highlight the different musical themes and styles
the band have explored throughout the release.
The Clearing is not only another addition to the list of 2025’s excellent album

Matt Tango Ellerby is a Lincolnshire based artist, multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, TEDx performer and proud yellerbelly. Featured as part of the soundscape for the Grimsby Creates 'MyFishGY' collaborative artwork projection event at the Fishing Heritage Centre in February 2023. Tango was also a finalist in the Write a Lincolnshire Song competition in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Formerly of Monkiejamm, The Kingbees, The ASBO Ducks and The Commitment Brothers. Now established as a solo act, as well as currently playing with Identity Crisis and The Curiosity Band.

His album 'Welcome to the Half Moon Hotel' was released earlier this summer.
