'PJ Harvey’s tenth studio album I Inside the Old Year Dying marks her first release in seven years, following UK number 1 album The Hope Six Demolition Project. On this album, which was recorded with long-time creative collaborators John Parish and Flood, PJ Harvey builds a sonic universe somehow located in a space between life’s opposites, and between recent history and the ancient past. Scattered with biblical imagery and references to Shakespeare, all of these distinctions ultimately dissolve into something profoundly uplifting and redemptive. '

Vinyl and CD available

My Back Was A Bridge For You To Cross is Anohni and the Johnsons' (formerly Anthony) sixth studio album, it, 'expresses a world view by shape-shifting through a broad range of subject matter. Through a personal lens, Anohni addresses loss of loved ones, inequality, alienation, acceptance, cruelty, ecocide, devastation wrought by Abrahamic theologies, Future Feminism, and the possibility that we might yet transform our ways of thinking, our spiritual ideas, our societal structures, and our relationships with the rest of nature.'

CD, standard vinyl and limited white vinyl available

From Fontaines D.C to Guy Garvey, and Aurora to Feist, each artist has offered their own incredible take on a timeless classic. Also included on this magical record are Let’s Eat Grandma, Bombay Bicycle Club, Aldous Harding, Emeli Sande, and Ben Harper, just to name a few more.

Plus 7" featuring an exclusive, previously unheard and unreleased recording of Nick Drake covering Bob Dylan’s “Tomorrow Is A Long Time”.

Double Vinyl and 2CD available

This week sees s special vinyl release of the Unloved tracks featured across all four seasons of Killing Eve. A single vinyl, featuring a die-cut sleeve and black wax.

'Unloved's music perfectly set the mood for the groundbreaking BBC show Killing Eve. Over the show's four series, their tracks helped build the world which Villanelle and Eve moved through; their sound was distinctive enough as to almost become another character. Ode To The Lovers collects together all of the Unloved tracks featured on the soundtrack to Killing Eve series 1 - 4 that have never before been released on vinyl.'

Y Dydd Olaf was initially released by Peski Records in October 2014 before being re-released worldwide in 2015 by Heavenly Recordings. The album was an attempt by Gwenno to combine her political views with sounds she loves and was inspired in part by a dystopian science fiction book of the same name by Owain Owain which was released in 1976.

African Head Charge - A Trip To Bolgatanga ' on glow in the dark vinyl or CD

'The legendary collaboration between master percussionist Bonjo Iyabinghi Noah and producer Adrian Sherwood return with their first new studio album in twelve years. Originally conceived in 1981 as an attempt to make Brian Eno’s “vision of a psychedelic Africa” exist in musical form, the project has evolved and mutated over the years but all the hallmarks of their classic sound are present and correct on this record: hypnotic hand drums driving rhythms to move your head and feet; coupled with mind-bending arrangements and dubwise production.'

Neu! 2 is the second album by the krautrock band Neu!. It was recorded in January 1973 and mixed in February 1973, both at Windrose-Dumont-Time Studios in Hamburg, West Germany, and released in 1973 by Brain Records. Neu 2 is built on the strength of its eleven-minute lead-in track, "Für Immer."

Re-issued debut album

'Beverly Glenn-Copeland was born in Philadelphia USA but this jazz folk album was recorded in Canada for the CBC in-house label and only released to CBC radio stations. Incredibly rare, originals of this LP have been known to sell for up to USD $1500 in the market place. Stand out tracks include the amazing Don’t Despair and Good Morning Blues, both written by Copeland, and a psych jazz reprise of the first track Don’t Despair. Having transitioned to a man, Glenn Copeland is still recording and playing his incredible music today.'

'Long out of print Second 70's recording Colour of Anyhow from Beverly Glenn Copeland and widely sought after by collectors classic album - remastered and re-cut for this release by Guy Davie, featuring "Color of Anyhow" and "Erzili".'

'Kicking off Matador’s Revisionist History Series for 2023, we celebrate the 30th anniversary of Bettie Serveert’s debut album, Palomine. Heralded in its original four-star review by Rolling Stone as "untamed and free as pop gets,” this 1993 classic will see its first pressing by Matador since the album's original release on limited-edition translucent orange vinyl, accompanied by the “Brain-Tag” 7”, which was included with the original pressing. '

'Little Dragon return with a new and utterly beguiling blend of avant pop on their album Slugs of Love on Ninja Tune, inviting outright legend Damon Albarn (Gorillaz, Blur) and rapper JID (J Cole / Dreamville) for collabs. The record features the singles ‘Slugs of Love’, ‘Frisco’, ‘Stay (feat. JID)’ and ‘Kenneth’.

The universally loved (and Grammy-nominated) band paved the way for the likes of Billie Eilish, Steve Lacy, Solange and Kaytranada, setting the benchmark for electronic pop and inspiring the new generation to push boundaries and explore new sonic territories.'

Vinyl and CD available

Jim O’Rourke’s soundtrack to Hands That Bind is out this week. O'Rourke's process – sourcing resonant sounds to be enmeshed together into a music that supersedes their resident parts – makes a fitting soundtrack for Kyle Armstrong’s “prairie gothic” tale of down-on-the-farm horror way up north in Canada. His minimalist score inhabits the wide open, big sky landscape, flowing into suddenly-deep (and opaque) emotional waters, then panning out to a chilly omniscient remove.

'Khruangbin’s ‘Live At’ series of live LPs traces just one small slice of the band’s flight plan through the years: it’s a taste of some of their most beloved cities, stages and nights. Each release comes with a limited- edition unique album cover exclusive for the recording’s home turf, just a little something extra for the fans that bring a little something extra. Most of all, Khruangbin’s ‘Live at’ series ignites both sides of the band’s magic: the warm, prismatic feeling of their albums and the bewitching energy of their performances.
