Here's news of just some of the new releases in store this Friday 19th September 2025 - call in and check out the rest plus loads of great 2nd hand vinyl and CDs too - open Tuesdays to Saturdays 10.00am to 5.30pm

'Buckingham Nicks, the only studio album by Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks as a duo, will be reissued for the first time on September 19. Originally released in 1973 and unavailable for decades, the album has been sourced from the original analog master tapes for its long-awaited return to vinyl, as well as hi-res digital files for its CD and digital release. Released on September 5, 1973, recorded at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles and produced by Keith Olsen, the album introduced Nicks and Buckingham’s tightly wound harmonies and sharply contrasting songwriting voices across 10 tracks—ranging from the folk-rock shimmer of “Crystal” to the sunbaked strut of “Don’t Let Me Down Again.”'

Baby blue vinyl and CD versions available.

Nine Inch Nails returns with over 70 minutes of new music for the motion picture TRON: Ares, the first soundtrack / score work from Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross that will live under the Nine Inch Nails moniker; consisting of all original music, complete at 24 tracks. Reznor and Ross bring their Grammy and Oscar-winning sonic vision to the Grid, crafting a soundtrack that hums with menace, melancholy, and momentum. More than an album, its architecture in sound: pulsating synths, distorted textures, and haunting melodies that rewire the TRON universe from the inside out. It is the collision of analog soul and digital dread—a score that doesn't just accompany the film, it possesses it.

red or white opaque vinyl available 19th September

'Festival-headlining favourites Biffy Clyro, with three UK #1 albums, make their highly anticipated return with Futique. The album's first single, "A Little Love," instantly showcased their enduring power, premiering as Radio 1’s Hottest Record, igniting Radio 1’s Big Weekend, and reaching #1 on the UK’s Official Vinyl Singles Chart.'

Neil Young and Reprise Records release Coastal: The Soundtrack, featuring 11 live recordings from the tour film of the same name.

Coastal is a personal, behind-the-scenes documentary on Neil Young as he cruises the coast on his 2023 solo US tour. The film gives an intimate view of the maverick musician, as he navigates a return to the stage post-Covid. From his everyday observations on the bus to his candid banter with his audience. Coastal is a rare peek behind the curtain of this unguarded iconoclast. The film was shot and directed by Daryl Hannah.

Coastal: The Soundtrack features 11 Neil Young songs including "Song X", "Vampire Blues" "Expecting To Fly", "Throw Your Hatred Down", "I Am A Child", and "Prime of Life". '

Lola Young releases new album I'm Only F**king Myself ((The Punching Bag Edition) this week. 'Exclusively available at indie stores, this 140g marbled vinyl comes in a matte-finish sleeve with a 12x12 insert. Featuring the hit single ‘One Thing’, this edition doesn’t pull punches, it wears the bruises proudly. It’s for the emotionally weathered, the quietly strong, and anyone who’s ever had to laugh through the pain. Emotional baggage isn’t included, but if you know, you know. Raw, rare, and real, this one’s just for you.'

'Five years after the triumphant Obsidian (#2 in Germany, #4 Switzerland, #5 Austria), British kings of doom'n'gloom Paradise Lost are back! Blending Metallica-esque riffage, Type-O heaviness, and Nick Holmes' vocals between Gahan, Eldritch and death growl, Paradise Lost and their new album Ascension are a shining example that some bands get better with age!'

'Fresh Outta 'P' University is Bootsy Collins' fourth solo album, released in 1997, and it celebrates his unmistakable P-Funk sound. The album is a funky journey through humorous lyrics and groovy basslines, all marked by Bootsy's unique style. The album solidified Bootsy's reputation as one of funk's most important figures, and his creative energy is palpable in every song. Fresh Outta 'P' University is a must-listen for any funk enthusiast looking to get swept away by good vibes and danceable rhythms. After being out of print for 20 years, this essential funk masterpiece is now available as a 2x180g LP and CD reissue, ready to get the party started once again.'

Bring Me The Horizon’s groundbreaking fifth studio record, and Sony Music debut, still denotes a moment of transcendence in the groups career, as they fused tried and tested heaviness with new-found pop sensibilities and neat production work, stepping up into the territory of global superstars in the process.

10th anniversary picture disc out 12th December

Tame Impala's fifth full-length album, Deadbeat. On it, Parker sculpts a collection of wickedly potent club-psych explorations as a vehicle for some of his most direct, brain-wormy songwriting to date, recasting Tame Impala as a kind of future primitive rave act in the process.

Deadbeat sounds like the work of an artist with a leveled up mastery and bristles with a revitalized energy for experimentation. 12 songs crafted with a newfound embrace of spontaneity for the renowned perfectionist. How that manifests is a distinct minimalism and crunch to many of the tracks, with a clutch of crucial details, timbres and textures that add an ineffably new dimension to the sound, as well as a richer, more playful vocal range than ever.

Out 17th October

The Charlatans are back with their highly anticipated new album, 'We Are Love'. Their first studio album since 2017, this eleven-track collection marks a significant return for the band. 'We Are Love' sees The Charlatans pushing their sonic boundaries, featuring exciting collaborations with the acclaimed Dev Hynes and renowned producer Steven Street, promising a fresh yet unmistakably Charlatans sound.

'With the story behind Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska set to be explored by the feature film Deliver Me From Nowhere, Nebraska ’82: Expanded Edition (four LPs + one Blu-Ray) gathers revelatory unheard material from this prolific period including the fabled Electric Nebraska sessions with the E Street Band and solo home and studio recordings, joined by a 2025 remaster of the original album, plus a new performance film of all ten Nebraska songs played in sequence.'

4LP and 4CD & Blu Ray out 17th October

Four decades on, Prince's  "Around The World In A Day" has been newly remastered in stereo by Bernie Grundman and is available on limited-edition 140g blue marble vinyl. The record ultimately yielded four commercial singles: “Raspberry Beret” with its spectacular kaleidoscopic video featuring Prince in a suit inspired by the clouds and sky on the sleeve, “Paisley Park” (released only overseas), “Pop Life”, and “America”.
