This Saturday 10th October 2020 is the now annual National Album Day which means that the shop is bursting with new special releases! And we have some great offers for you too.
For extra comfort in these tricky times National Album Day has gone back to the 80s reissuing some of our all time favourites. Vinyl releases include a Prefab Sprout Picture Disc of Steve McQueen, Deacon Blue's Raintown, Soul II Soul's Club Classics Vol. OneEurope's Final Countdown,Talk Talk's It's My Life, The Stone Roses' self titled 1989 debut, Roxette's Look Sharp, and Film Soundtracks from Top Gun and Footloose plus many more in the shop too. Robert Wyatt - His Greatest Misses is out as a Limited Edition Green Double LP. It showcases his decades long career in music and coincides with the release of the book Side By Side about the collaborative work of Robert & his artist wife Alfie Benge. Available on Ltd green double Green vinyl & CD.
John Lennon would have been 80 on October 9th 2020. In celebration of his life and his music a new 36 track Best Of will be released: Gimme Some Truth is out Friday. Available as a 4LP Box Set - Lift-off lid box contains 4LP’s, 8 page booklet, fold-out double-sided poster, 2 post cards and Gimme Some Truth. bumper sticker or as a 2CD set.
We have special coloured vinyl German reissue editions of Kraftwerk's albums - they look and will sound fantastic!
Ride guitarist/singer Andy Bell releases his debut solo album The View From Halfway Down on Ltd blue vinyl and CD.
American musicians Chelsea Wolfe and Jess Gowrie have formed a new duo called Mrs Piss and their debut album is called Self Surgery. A blend of industrial rock, metal and punk influences.
Inhaler are one of the hottest new bands to emerge from Ireland, they include Elijah Hewson the son of U2's Bono and have just released the latest single off their forthcoming debut album. Falling In is a Ltd Edition blue 7".

The 20th Anniversary Edition of Bert Jansch's Crimson Moon is out on Friday. A fabulous album which features appearances from Johnny Marr, Bernard Butler and many more.
Birdbrain by Buffalo Tom is an album has been out of print for years. Cue a  limited edition 30-year Anniversary edition of  the band’s second album . Available on ltd mint green vinyl.
Tears For Fears' Platinum 1989 album The Seeds of Love gets a re-issue this week in various formats including a 5 Disc Box Set (4CDs + 1 Blu Ray).
