This Saturday 10th October 2020 is the now annual National Album Day which means that the shop is bursting with new special releases! And we have some great offers for you too.
For extra comfort in these tricky times National Album Day has gone back to the 80s reissuing some of our all time favourites. Vinyl releases include a Prefab Sprout Picture Disc of Steve McQueen, Deacon Blue's Raintown, Soul II Soul's Club Classics Vol. One, Europe's Final Countdown,Talk Talk's It's My Life, The Stone Roses' self titled 1989 debut, Roxette's Look Sharp, and Film Soundtracks from Top Gun and Footloose plus many more in the shop too. Robert Wyatt - His Greatest Misses is out as a Limited Edition Green Double LP. It showcases his decades long career in music and coincides with the release of the book Side By Side about the collaborative work of Robert & his artist wife Alfie Benge. Available on Ltd green double Green vinyl & CD.
John Lennon would have been 80 on October 9th 2020. In celebration of his life and his music a new 36 track Best Of will be released: Gimme Some Truth is out Friday. Tears For Fears' Platinum 1989 album The Seeds of Love gets a re-issue this week in various formats including a 5 Disc Box Set (4CDs + 1 Blu Ray).
