Madonna releases Confessions II this Friday 3rd July. The new album is the continuation of the iconic counterpart Confessions on a Dance Floor...Madonna sums up her new record best by quoting the first few lines of her song, One Step Away, “People think that dance music is superficial, but they’ve got it all wrong. The dance floor is not just a place, it’s a threshold: A ritualistic space where movement replaces language.”

This is a quietly remarkable, gently flowing little film with good solid acting and an intelligent, humorous script. A pleasant, fresh, confident, thoughtful, humane little number.
