Holly Humberstone, Scritti Politti, Laufey + just 1 week til Record Store Day on Saturday 18 April 26!!

New in store this week...

Holly Humberstone, who originally hails from Lincolnshire, is back with 'her highly anticipated second album, Cruel World, set for release on 10 April 2026. One of the defining voices of her generation, Holly delivers a record that lives in the tension between pain and pleasure, where chaos and acceptance sit side by side.

Renowned for her forensic song writing — earning an Ivor Novello nomination for her debut EP and winning the BRIT Rising Star in 2022 — Holly has evolved into a global force whose lucid, emotionally piercing storytelling resonates far beyond her own walls.

On Cruel World, she escapes into a dark fairy tale of her own making, where childhood relics, monsters and memory collide, resulting in her most immersive, introspective and compelling body of work to date.'

Pearl white vinyl version and CD formats available

Re-issue out this week - 'The debut album of one of Britain's most acclaimed and influential bands, Songs to Remember takes us back to the beginnings of Scritti Politti. Having emerged out of the DIY Camden bedsit scene of the late 70s, yet with a musical vision to match the likes of Miles Davis (who they later worked with), the Green Gartside-led group established themselves as one of the early 80s' true innovators as Songs To Remember channelled both the fiery politics of the era with a burgeoning pop sensibility. Described as “witty and ingenious” by NME on its release in 1982, Songs to Remember has been fully remastered for this long overdue vinyl repressing, which has been personally overseen by Gartside himself.'

Vinyl and CD formats available

Icelandic singer songwriter Laufey’s deluxe album, A Matter of Time: The Final Hour, 'is the closing chapter of her beautiful, critically acclaimed, and Grammy® Award-winning third album, A Matter of Time. With four new songs, this 19-track deluxe album is an introspection about learning to live with one’s anxieties — embracing uncertainty, accepting the passage of time, and finding calm after the storm.'
