It's good to see you all again, we've had a great start back. There's lots to look forward to with loads of great stock coming to the shop over the next few weeks plus we are planning ahead for the RSD Drops in June & July - more details coming very soon about how the Drops will happen at Off The Beaten Tracks.

Dinosaur Jnr release their new album Sweep It Into Space this week. We are sold out of pre-orders of the limited purple vinyl but have black vinyl and CD versions in stock. Produced and featuring Kurt Vile, it's a thrilling listen full of J & Lou's great songs delivered with their trademark devastating sound. Always a pleasure to get a new album from one of the most consistently brilliant American Indie Rock bands around.

Flat White Moon is the new release from Sunderland's finest Field Music 'Flat White Moon is their most personal, revealing, warmest-sounding album so far.' (The Arts Desk). CD or Ltd Transparent vinyl in stock.

BN9Drone is the latest release from the experimental Sheffield band. It delves deeper into Cabaret Voltaire’s arsenal of “harsh rhythms and threatening detonations” (Classic Pop), CD available.

Arlo Parks' first EP has been reissued together with her second EP - Super Sad Generation, available on CD.

'One of the most iconic pieces of music in Heavenly’s history gets a first time reissue on vinyl. This time Flowered Up's Weekender even has a B side and it’s the soundtrack from the legendary and timeless film made by WIZ to accompany the original release back in 1992.'  Also released is the companion piece to the Weekender 12" is Weatherall’s Weekender featuring two remixes by producer Andrew Weatherall. One of 70s ska revival's main bands The Selecter release Too Much Pressure. A remastered limited edition clear vinyl release for its 40th Anniversary - comes with a bonus 7" single.

The Pink Stones, ace new country rock band hailing from Athens, Georgia, release their debut album Introducing...The Pink Stones on randomly coloured 140gm vinyl. Definitely one to check out.

Fire It Up is legendary Memphis guitarist Steve Cropper's first album of new Soul / R&B material in 10 years. Cropper is the legendary guitarist with Booker T. & the M.G.'s & also played on records by Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, Sam and Dave, Johnny Taylor and Albert King.

German producer Ulrich Schnauss has collaborated again with Danish musician Jonas Munk, Eight Fragments Of An Illusion is released on limited edition transparent red vinyl.

Crestone is the debut feature written and directed by Marnie Ellen Hertzler with a film score by the experimental New York act Animal Collective. Available on black vinyl.
