The Rolling Stones release the brand new album Hackney Diamonds this Friday 20th October

'Hackney Diamonds, the hugely anticipated new album by The Rolling Stones, on Polydor Records. Following the release of 2016's Grammy Award winning Blue and Lonesome, which featured brilliant versions of blues tracks that helped shape their sound, Hackney Diamonds marks the band’s first studio album of original material since 2005's A Bigger Bang!.

Late drummer Charlie Watts features on two tracks, ‘Mess It Up’ and ‘Live By The Sword’. ‘Live By The Sword’ additionally features bass from former Stones bassist Bill Wyman. ‘Sweet Sounds Of Heaven’ featuring vocals from Lady Gaga and keys and piano from Stevie Wonder, ‘Bite My Head Off’ with bass from Paul McCartney, and ‘Get Close’ and ‘Live By The Sword’ with piano from Elton John.'

'Odd Future star's third solo album features Erykah Badu, Dave Matthews and Stereolab. Frank Ocean and Earl Sweatshirt represent Odd Future on multiple tracks as well as other group members such as Hodgy Beats, Mike G and Domo Genesis. Frank Ocean appears on two Wolf tracks, both of which see him line-up alongside unlikely collaborators. 'Escape-ism' sees the R&B singer appear with American singer-songwriter Dave Matthews. Meanwhile, 'Bimmer' sees Ocean and Tyler team up with Stereolab singer Laetitia Sadier. '

'New Wave icons Adam and the Ants formed in 1977 with Adam and a group of friends who had met at Vivienne Westwood’s iconic London fashion boutique, Sex. By 1980, their subversive, ground-breaking sound and iconic fashion had built up a large brigade of loyal fans. Between 1980 to 1982, Adam and The Ants released 3 albums, which all reached the top 10 of the UK Official Albums Chart, including the Brit Award winning Kings of the Wild Frontier which held the number 1 spot for twelve weeks, and two Number 1 singles in the UK Official Singles Chart, ‘Stand and Deliver’ and ‘Prince Charming’. 

Nearly 45 years later, on 20th October 2023, Decca Records re-release a limited edition translucent 7” of the Young Parisians single with its B-side Lady, featuring the original artwork hand drawn by Adam Ant himself. '
