Hawkwind have released a brand-new studio album. The Future Never Waits follows their critically acclaimed 2021 album Somnia and 2022 double live album We Are Looking In On You.'

'Defamator is the long-time-coming debut project of 24-year-old LA msuician Chloe Gallardo...Drawing influences from artists such as Broadcast, Grouper and My Bloody Valentine Gallardo adds her own haunting, folk-style vocals and hyper-specific lyrics to create a sonic unique to her. A style that she describes in her words as “dark shoegaze bedroom indie pop”.

The Undertones formed in Derry, Northern Ireland, in 1975 and released their debut album The Undertones in 1979 which peaked at #13 in the UK Charts.

John and Damian O'Neill partnered infectious guitar hooks to '60s garage, '70s glam rock, with Feargal Sharkey's signature vocal quaver. Those qualities came together on their breakout hit "Teenage Kicks," whose simplicity harked back to '60s ideals of when the song was king.'

He says: “I decided not to sequence the tracks in chronological order. With six sides of vinyl, you have six ‘beginnings’ and six ‘ends’ to play with, and I felt that the opportunity to build some kind of a musical journey was too good to miss! Listening back to this collection, I have to say that I genuinely believe that, for this project, The Wedding Present have recorded some of our best tracks yet. I loved releasing the singles, but it’s satisfying to have them all rounded up together.”

This time last year we were very busy moving shops and setting up at no. 8 Aswell Street, with lots of very welcome help from friends and family. It has been great to see it take shape and to have more space for in-store music. We hope you love the new shop as much as we do.
