Fela Kuti - Live! with Ginger Baker - 50th Anniversary Reissue - New Ltd Red 2LP is out this week. It features an etching of the album artwork on Side D. Side C features Ginger Baker and Tony Allen’s blinding, extended, dual-drums solos from 1978’s Berlin Jazz Festival, re-mastered at Abbey Road Studios in 2021.

Super group Puscifer featuring Maynard James Keenan (Tool, A Perfect Circle) release a live album featuring audio from 2020 livestream at Arcosanti. Performance featuring Greg Edwards (Failure).

We're big Bernard Butler fans here at Off The Beaten Tracks and are excited to see a new deluxe 4cd box set of his fab 1998 debut album People Move On featuring rarities and a 'brand new vocal & occasional guitar overdubs' also on Ltd vinyl.

In the shop which had lots more stuff arrive including Sleaford Mods great last album Spare Ribs LP is back in. We're also looking forward to the new Half Man Half Biscuit cd due tomorrow we've had a selection of their earlier albums in. We're also expecting the excellent new Johnny Marr Fever Dreams cd and vinyl also due.

The shop is also brimming with a fantastic array of 2nd hand vinyl and cds which have arrived recently from across all genres.

Sad news this week to hear of the death of Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees, Queens Of The Stone Age) at the age of 57. Paying tribute New Order's Peter Hook said, "He leaves us with fantastic words and music! Thank god that through all of that he will live forever."

Alvingham Open Mic Night at Alvingham Village Hall is on this Friday 25th February
