Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here
'To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Wish You Were Here the album is released on “yellow flame” vinyl for the first time. Featuring 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond', the hypnotic 'Welcome To The Machine', the scathing 'Have a Cigar', and the essential title track, Wish You Were Here is undoubtedly one of the most important album releases in the history of popular music. The record’s themes of absence, isolation, transience, and comment on the insincerity of the music business are embodied in the iconic album artwork. 50 years since its release, Wish You Were Here sounds as resonant and vital as ever.'

Happy Mondays The Factory Singles
'Celebrating 40 Years of one of Britain’s most iconic and era-defining bands, The Factory Singles is the definitive tribute to a group that reshaped the sound of UK music. This fully remastered 2CD collection brings together their landmark singles from 1985–1992, capturing the raw energy, innovation, and fearless creativity that made them a cornerstone of the Factory Records and Madchester legacy.
From underground club anthems to crossover hits, every track showcases their unique fusion of attitude, electronic experimentation, and dancefloor-ready grooves. These singles not only defined an era but also laid the foundations for the alternative dance and indie scenes that followed.
The Factory Singles is more than a retrospective—it’s a time capsule of a movement that redefined what a band could be, and a celebration of a legacy that continues to resonate across dancefloors and playlists today.'

Jad Fair & Yo La Tengo
'In the ’90s, Jad Fair (founding member of Half Japanese) had five favourite bands and songwriters: Daniel Johnston, The Pastels, Sonic Youth, Teenage Fanclub, and Yo La Tengo. It’s a good list, sure, but what’s most remarkable about it is that, in the course of a dozen years or so, Fair made music with all of them in one form or another...By the time Fair played a party with Yo La Tengo in the mid-’90s, they were all friends, fans, and collaborators, having worked on or released records together. When Fair suggested they all head into the studio, the trio bit. The result, Strange But True, is as wonderful, varied, and wild as some enormous lawn of native grasses. This collaborative album showcases the artists’ uncanny range, bringing us back to a time when indie rock was still free to be as weird and unruly as its makers wanted it to be.'

Releases from Brooklyn rock band Geese are flying out (excuse the pun) faster than we can restock at the moment!
We have a few copies of latest album Getting Killed on vinyl in store only and more copies of the CD are expected soon. Grab them while you can!

Shop fave Sufjan Stevens' 2014 album Illinoise gets a reissue this week...
'Like the self-proclaimed Spiderman who climbed Chicago's sears tower with no harness, Sufjan Stevens scales dusty prairies, steel factories, and two hundred years of history in the second instalment of his 50 state project, Illinoise, a 22-track athematic tone poem to the prairie state.'
