The fifth album from Isle Of Eigg dwelling psych-pop wonder Pictish Trail is out now, 'a strange, unpredictable, sardonic and yet deeply personal record inspired by all from Fever Ray to The Flaming Lips, Liars, Mercury Rev and Beck.'

This week sees the release of (Guitar, Vocal) A Collection Of Unreleased and Rare Material 1967-1976 a 45th Anniversary re-issue of Richard Thompson’s 1976 collection of rarities with Fairport Convention, Linda Thompson and solo. Remastered and available on double 180 gram black vinyl.

Andrew Willoughby at Alford Acoustics invites local musicians to take part in the first Alford Music and Arts Festival on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th July.
