Our new shop is open at 8 Aswell St! New releases: Sex Pistols, Richard Ashcroft, Nick Cave & Warren Ellis, George Ezra, The Dream Syndicate, Depeche Mode and The Rolling Stones

What a week! We are excited to announce that our new shop at 8 Aswell Street, Louth is now open.

Our new shop was officially opened on Wednesday 8th June by our guest John Shuttleworth who cut the ribbon for us and performed a song specially written for the occasion! Thanks to Graham Fellows for generously giving up your time.

Big thanks to all who those of you who were able to come along for the occasion, it was lovely to see so many friendly faces.

This move has been no small feat and it really was a team effort with our assistants Bex and Elsa and friends and family all pitching in over the last month. Thank you to all those of you who helped us with the move and for the many offers of help. We hope you enjoy the new place and we think you'll agree when we say how wonderful our new shop sign is, which was created by sign writer extraordinaire Susi Mulligan.

We're coming back down to earth now and preparing for the June RSD Drop which takes place on Saturday 18 June.

We have copies of the new limited edition version of the Sex Pistols' single God Save The Queen in stock now. It's a numbered version on transparent blue vinyl. 

Something very special for fans of Depeche Mode Exciter The 12" Singles is a numbered limited edition of 8 12" singles faithfully reproduced from original artwork and audio masters.

'Re-creating the original artwork the Virgin version features the iconic Jamie Reid artwork - the 7" has been pressed on transparent blue vinyl and includes the original B - side Did You No Wrong'

Richard Ashcroft releases a limited 7" of C'mon People (We're Making It Now) featuring Liam Gallagher. It comes in the form of the Don't Stop Now Mix and is backed by Bring on the Lucie (Freda Peeple) on the flip. Hand Numbered - limited to 5000 copies 

Originally available as a digital-only release, Invada Records and Lakeshore Records present the original score by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis to the film La Panthere Des Neiges (AKA The Velvet Queen). The soundtrack is one of Ellis and Cave's most heartfelt and haunting film projects.

David Sylvan's Sleepwalker - black double vinyl, 'A revised, remastered reissue of Sleepwalkers. It's a selection of collaborative work produced over the period encompassing Blemish through to Manafon, also included is compositions by Nine Horses as well as more fleeting flirtations and one-offs. neglected offspring. Local bands and artists!

We want to support you! Call in with your CDs and gig posters and news. We are delighted that the new shop has space for in store acoustic music performances and we look forward to putting together a programme of events in the near future. 

What's On

Plus loads of great events are taking place this month around Louth as part of the Zero Degrees Festival including a Comedy Night on Fri 10th and Outfields Music Festival on 18th June (tickets available at the shop) and many free events too.

This Saturday 11th June is the wonderful annual World Music Event starting at 2pm and before that a family-friendly puppet and music show for the little ones at 11am, 12pm and 1pm all in the beautiful Spout Yard Park for free!
