Liam Gallagher releases his first solo live album under the iconic MTV Unplugged format recorded last year just over the bridge at Hull City Hall!

It's a week of new solo debuts from Jehnny Beth (Savages) & Orlando Weeks (Maccabees). The latter is a limited edition vinyl with a signed hand finished print.

A big re-issue this week is Manic Street Preachers' 1993 masterpiece Gold Against The Soul which has been remastered. Could this be the best Manics album ever?! The 180gm vinyl comes with download codes for B sides and the 2CD version includes previously unreleased material including demos and B sides a and is housed in a beautiful 120 page hardback book.

There are new albums from Jack Garratt and Norah Jones, a largely instrumental 10 track EP from Warp artist Bibio and debut album from LA duo Drab City - Good Songs for Bad People, a re-issue of Janis Joplin's 1971 posthumous release Pearl on vinyl & Steve Hackett's Genesis Revisited Live at The Royal Albert Hall which is released as a fine looking 3LP + 2CD set.     

Also out 12th June is: John Williams' OST from the ninth & final Star Wars film, out as a double picture disc, the self titled album by Manchester Jazz trio GoGo Penguin, The Aces - Under My Influence and Built To Spill Plays The Songs of Daniel Johnston.

Three of Yo La Tengo's early albums have been re-issued on CD  including the excellent 'I Can Hear The Heart Beating As One' from 1997. Also out on CD is Essential Thin Lizzy -  a 3CD compilation and NOW 100 70s Hits as a 5CD compilation.

We have added to our selection of titles available online for the Love Record Stores Event including a reissue of Nirvana's Bleach on neon vinyl. All LRSD20 titles will be available to buy online from 9.00am Sat 20th June.

Preparations for re-opening the shop on Wed 24th June are going to plan. (To begin with we'll open 10.00am to 3.00pm Wednesdays to Saturdays, with a later opening til 6pm on Fridays). We can't wait to safely get the shop back open!
