The Essential Foo Fighters is out and selling really well in the shop this week - a double LP compilation, 21 tracks on black vinyl and cd. 

Thursday 30 June marked 25 years since the release of The Prodigy’s The Fat of the Land; an album so iconic it turned the sound of underground rave music into a global force; capturing the world's attention and dominating the charts. In celebration XL Recordings announces two-anniversary releases including a limited edition 2LP silver 12” vinyl package of the original album with a reimagined version of Alex Jenkin’s artwork, and a brand-new remix of “Firestarter” by drum and bass pioneer Andy C.'

Transparent Curacao vinyl version of the reissue of Ride's Nowhere was originally released on 15th October 1990, 'featuring classic tracks including Vapour Trail, Polar Bear and Dreams Burn Down. Widely considered one of the greatest albums not only of the 'shoegaze' genre, but of the 90s, Nowhere was Creation Records' first Top 75 album, peaking in the UK album charts at number 11.'

Ride set themselves a tough task by having to follow up their excellent full-length debut, Nowhere, an album that still stands as one of the finest examples of Britain's shoegazer movement. Fortunately, the band rose to the task. While not quite as immediately striking or hypnotic as Nowhere, Going Blank Again is a charmingly different kettle of fish.' The reissue of Going Blank Again is out now on double transparent vinyl.

Columbia Records release the fifth studio album by the Swedish folk sibling duo First Aid Kit. Released four years after their previous album Ruins, Palomino is an 11 song album and features the singles 'Angel' and 'Out of My Head'. 

We have the limited release from The Streets of the brilliantly titled EP 'Brexit At Tiffanys'. ‘Brexit At Tiffany’s’ also features a collaboration with grime artist MC Manga Saint Hilare titled ‘3 Minutes To Midnight’, and is closed out by a song called ‘Test of Time’. 

John Frusciante's The Empyrean gets a 10 year anniversary repress, cut from the original analog tapes.

Spice Girls' Spice World gets a 25th Anniversary reissue on limited clear vinyl, includes the hit singles 'Spice Up Your Life' (UK No. 1), 'Too Much' (UK No. 1), 'Stop' (UK No. 2) and 'Viva Forever' (UK No. 1).

Out this week is the first-ever vinyl reissue of critically acclaimed Saharan Tuareg group Tinariwen’s third album, Aman Iman: Water Is Life. US indie rock band Broken Bells 'are back with their third full length album, Into the Blue. The Cult’s latest endeavor is Under The Midnight Sun - we have the limited edition (500 copies) white vinyl version available now.

Leicester 90s indie punk rock band Prolapse are a band very close to our hearts. One of Mark's fav band's from his student days in the 90s at venues around the city. Out now is a deluxe reissue of their debut Pointless Walks To Dismal Places - pressed on coloured vinyl plus a bonus disc with the Cherry Red EP tracks.

Ginger Wildheart and The Sinners' self-titled debut album is an energetic album that celebrates rock’n’roll and as Ginger explains it is in “the spirit of the music that we all collectively love, from childhood to the present day.
