Thanks so much for your online orders, they are keeping us busy. Unfortunately we've been unable to open our doors as planned due to the new coronavirus restrictions but we've been here before so we'll keep playing music (loud) and posting daily 'We'll Return' tunes via Instagram, Twitter & Facebook.

Levellers Weapon Called The Word limited edition picture disc to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of this fantasic album.

Peter Tosh's 1978 album Bush Doctor has been reissued on red vinyl. Featuring some great collaborations with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Sly and Robbie.

We have two releases on vinyl by Squarepusher Damogen Furies LP from 2015 and Lamental EP from 2020.

We have the Love Record Stores limited clear vinyl edition of Oxford Indie Rock musician Willie J Healey's - Twin Heavy. Produced by Loren Humphries (Arctic Monkeys, Tame Impala)

John Coltrane - Giant Steps his classic first album from 1960 on black vinyl. A bargain at £12.99.

Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band - The Mirror Man Sessions is a Limited Numbered Edition of 1500 copies on Crystal clear double vinyl. This reissue has 5 additional tracks.

We have 2 new excellent new wave/post punk compilations in stock. Greater Manchester Punk 1977 - 1981 and Greater Manchester Punk Now We Are Heroes 1978 - 82 each is a limited coloured vinyl edition of just 300 copies & comes with a fanzine.

Prolific Ohio indie rock band Cloud Nothings recorded The Black Hole Understands in lockdown at the start off the Covid19 pandemic. 'The Black Hole Understands eschews the noisy thrash and improv tendencies that emerged on later albums, in favor of dreamy, poppy vocals that float over fast, jangly songs.'

We have the limited edition pink marbled vinyl version of Sjung Denna Sang an excellent compliation album by ABBA's Agnetha Faltskog first released in 1986.

The Pineapple Thief - The Soord Sessions Volume 4 is the 4th of 4 live solo sessions broadcast by Bruce Soord during lockdown. Includes 'In Exile', 'Versions of the Truth' and 'Demons'. 180gm dark green vinyl.

Fleet Foxes release their new album Shore 5th February.Fleet Foxes Robin Pecknold  says 'It's a celebration of life in the face of death, honoring our lost musical heroes, from David Berman to John Prine to Judee Sill to Bill Withers, embracing the joy and solace they brought to our lives and honoring their memory. SHORE is an object levitating between the magnetic fields of the past and the future."

On 26th February PJ Harvey is releasing Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea. Both a re-reissue of the original album from 2000 as well as a Demos version of this fabulous album. Available to pre order now.

Neil Young's Archives Vol. II 1972 - 1976 is a 10 CD Box Set and comes out 5th March. . This box set covers the extremely productive period from 1972 through 1976. A prolific era for Neil when he released several classic albums including On The Beach, Tonight’s The Night and Zuma. Homegrown, just released, is part of this history as well. The box set features a total of 131 tracks of which 62 are either unreleased songs or unreleased alternate versions, different mixes, rare or live tracks.
