Foo Fighters release their new album Medicine At Midnight on Friday February 5th. We are giving away a pack of 4 Foo Fighters beer mats with each sale of the Limited Blue vinyl while stocks last.

One of the albums of 2020 Fleet Foxes' Shore finally gets a much-anticipated physical release on CD and Ltd Vinyl. Described as a celebration of life in the face of death, honouring lost musical heroes, from David Berman to John Prine to Judee Sill to Bill Withers We have Fleet Foxes prints to give away with each vinyl again whilst stocks last. 

Not Your Muse is the debut album from Celeste, the 25-year-old British-Jamaican, who grew up in Brighton. Her influences include Aretha Franklin, Minnie Ripperton and Amy Winehouse. We have the deluxe 21 track CD and standard 12 track CD in stock.

Fela Kuti's sons release a double album Legacy + this week. It features Femi Kuti's album Stop The Hate and Made Kuti's album For(e)ward. 'Both albums that make up Legacy + are steeped in the tradition of Afrobeat invented by Fela, but each also offers their own unique vision.' The fabulous sleeve artwork is by Brooklyn artist Delphine Desane.

Black Country, New Road are a seven piece band from Cambridgeshire and part of the Brixton Windmill scene that has championed  the likes of black midi, Squid, Fat White Family and Shame. Their debut For The First Time is out on Friday.

Cooler Returns is the second album from Canadian Kiwi Jr. Limited 'Loser' white Vinyl in stock.

Tyler The Creator releases Peach Fuzz as a limited edition peach shaped 10" picture disc.

Brigid Mae Power  is an Irish singer and musician. Her folk-orientated album Head Above Water is released on limited gold vinyl as a Love Record Stores release this Friday. Limited to 500 copes and comes with a Fire Records compilation CD.

Riding On The Tide Of Love is a new 8 track album by Deacon Blue and the companion album to the recent City of Love. Out Fri 5th Feb and in stock on vinyl and CD.

Steven Wilson's brand new album The Future Bites released last Friday 29th Jan is in stock on ltd white vinyl.

Passenger (aka Brighton folk rock singer Mike Rosenberg) released his 13th album at the start of the year. Songs For The Drunk And Broken Hearted is a double LP or CD in stock now.

CD versions of Arlo Park's fantasic album Collapsed In Sunbeams, released 29th Jan, have just arrived. We also have a Ltd red vinyl version in stock which comes with a bonus CD.

We have the Love Record Stores Variant of Scottish Folk Rock band Modern Studies' 2020 album The Weight of The Sun on yellow vinyl. This is a Limited Edition of 300 copies and comes with a bonus Fire Records Compilation CD.

Opiate is the debut 6 track EP by revered LA metal band Tool first released in 1992. This is a 2017 reissue pressed on 180 Gram black vinyl. £13.99

February is Black History Month and NPR Music's Tiny Desk Concert series is celebrating by featuring 13 home concerts by both emerging and established Black artists across genres. This week has jazz performances by Wynton Marsalis, Immanuel Wilkins and Melanie Charles. Next week includes R&B musicians Meshell Ndegeocello, Giveon and KeiyaA. The week of February 15th will highlight hip hop musicians Rick Ross, 2 Chainz and Rae Khalil. This week has also seen the announcement that the Black Lives Matter movement has been nominated for this year's Nobel Peace Prize. The movement which gained huge momentum in 2020 has highlighted the need for this long overdue conversation and action by us all. One powerful way we can show support is by using Black businesses. James Yorkston & The Secondhand Orchestra - The Wide, Wide River is back in stock on black vinyl and on CD, this album has received great reviews from customers.

Thank Folk For Feminism launched this week. It is a brand new bi monthly podcast hosted by Lucy Ward and Lisa (Pinky) Ward. Their mission is to provide a platform for and celebrate a diverse range of women's voices from within folk music. Their first guest is the brilliant Peggy Seeger.
