New arrivals this week...

THIS WEEK we have a varied array of new releases including a deluxe LP reissue of Billie Eilish's last album Hit Me Hard and Soft.

This special anniversary edition is pressed on bio-vinyl dark blue & orange splatter with the original cover printed on silver mirror foil board.

New split 7" from Chastity Belt and 764-Hero! Chastity Belt's version of "Loaded Painted Red" doesn't just cover 764-Hero's original. It dissolves into it, rebuilding it with a gauzy, wide-open clarity.

It's a song that's always carried a certain weight: bruised and echoing with late '90s Pacific Northwest melancholy.

Beta Band - The Three EPs is a firm shop favourite!

The Beta Band formed in St. Andrews, Scotland, in 1996 and quickly became one of the most acclaimed bands of the past 20 years. Their innovative and singular approach to music set them apart from their peers, earning them love from fans and fellow musicians alike.

Despite being together for a relatively short period of time, The Beta Band released three albums and three EPs between 1996 and 2004. These releases helped define them as one of the most exciting and cherished bands of their generation.

Last year, Because Music acquired The Beta Band's catalogue and reissued their releases. Among these reissues is a double vinyl edition featuring the EPs Champion Versions, The Patty Patty Sound, and Los Amigos Del Beta Bandidos.

Yaya Bey - Do It Afraid

'A rejection of past narratives projected onto her, do it afraid finds Brooklyn R&B artist Yaya Bey reclaiming her story with resolutely fun, full-hearted, and nuanced songs that pull from R&B, hip-hop, jazz, soul, and dance music, including the soca stylings of her family’s Bajan roots. do it afraid celebrates all sides of Yaya as part of a collective lifeforce that doesn’t subscribe to fear but to the moments that move us.'

Gold double vinyl

Hull/Leeds based five-piece Bdrmm release a new black and amber vinyl version of their debut album Bedroom. One of our albums of the year in 2020 Bedroom is a modern-day shoegaze essential.

Prepare to raise a glass and stomp your feet as The Pogues' seminal album, 'Rum Sodomy & The Lash,' celebrates its 40th anniversary. Originally released on August 5th 1985, the album captured the raw energy and poetic lyricism that defined The Pogues, solidifying their place as one of the most influential bands of their generation

This 40th anniversary reissue will come in a collectible  2LP red marble vinyl edition and a Deluxe 2CD set, both offering the original album plus a bonus disc that brings together the legendary Poguetry In Motion EP, with tracks from the July 1985 BBC Janice Long session, plus original single B sides.

Celebrating 30 years of their seminal sophomore album, comes The Cranberries’ No Need To Argue, their worldwide multi-platinum masterpiece. This edition now includes newly mixed, remastered audio from the original album’s producer Stephen Street.

We've also had in new LPs and reissues by leading electronic musician Clark, Jalen Ngonda, The Delines and Japenese experimental artist Yutaka Hirose.
