We had a tremendous response to Record Store Day Drop 2 - thanks for all your purchases, we really appreciate it. 

All online orders from the weekend have been sent out, so we hope you are enjoying receiving those. If you haven't picked up your order yet you can collect in store Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 5.30pm (6pm Fridays).

This week Essex born pop star Anne-Marie releases a second album. Therapy 'is the follow-up to her multi-platinum and four million-selling 2018 debut, Speak Your Mind [the UK’s biggest-selling debut release of that year].'

Several copies have arrived of a rare purple LP reissue of Lee Scratch Perry's 2017 reinvention of his classic Black Ark LP Super Ape Returns To Conquer with a fantastic collaboration with the Subatomic Sound System.  

Gold-Diggers Sound is the new album from Leon Bridges. This R&B collection is birthed from extended late nights at the Los Angeles, California studio of the same name. Available on CD or we have the limited edition vinyl with alternate cover.

We also have the new album from one of our fav artists in recent years Snapped Ankles Forest of Your Problems on cd and indies only recycled colour LP.

I Be Trying is the new record from two-time Grammy nominee Blues/Gospel artist Cedric Burnside. Limited blue LP in stock.

For fans of Sharon Van Etten...

A tenth anniversary double expanded reissue of the classic album Epic.

Plus Mondo, and Jagjaguwar present a limited edition 7" vinyl pressing of Sharon Van Etten's incredible song Let Go, recorded for the 2020 documentary Feels Good Man. It also features a cover of Some Things Last A Long Time by Texas legend Daniel Johnston as B-Side.

August Opening Times

As is usual for us during the month of August the shop will only be open on Louth market days - Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10am to 5.30pm - to allow us to spend some time together as a family.

The fab folk behind Louth's Zero Degrees Festival have organised some outdoor live music events including:

Culture at the Canal - Sunday 25th July - 1pm till 5pm The Navigation Warehouse & Platform, Riverhead Rd. LN11 0DA Fabulous live Latin , folk and acoustic music. Bensley's ice cream and the Woolpack Inn will be providing food & drink - Free admission, family friendly.

Buskers' Day in Louth - Saturday 14th August will be a buzzing day full of buskers throughout the town.

Cafe Culture Sundays in the Cornmarket Louth. Enjoy a cuppa, drink, lunch. Pop up music entertaining you in the Cornmarket from 11am through till 4pm. Sunday 1st August 2021, Sunday 22nd August 2021, Sunday 19th September 2021
