The Love’s 1966 debut for Elektra Records is one of those records whose reach far outgrew its chart impact. It captures a group with a distinct voice from the outset, and its influence on rock music has only deepened with time.

The album also includes their first hit, a cover of My Little Red Book, written by Bacharach and David. A vital early statement from a band whose legacy continues to resonate well beyond its original moment.
